My recent stay at the resort was a mix of beautiful scenery and disheartening experiences. The staff seemed attentive, but the facilities and services fell short, especially concerning safety and comfort for children. While the location provides easy access to Zion National Park, I found the RV park lacking in space and quality management. I appreciated some activities available on-site, but overall, I left feeling there were significant improvements needed.

Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort offers a unique experience with beautiful scenery and a variety of activities that were enjoyable for both adults and kids. However, the dining options left a lot to be desired, and the maintenance of the public restrooms was not up to par. Overall, it's a great spot for families, but some aspects could be improved for a better experience.

The cabins were clean and comfortable, though we needed a box fan due to the heat and lack of air conditioning. Overall, the cabin was adequate but had some maintenance issues.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially during our check-in and when addressing our request for a fan. However, there was some confusion initially when we asked for assistance.
Location

The resort is conveniently located just a short drive from Zion National Park, making it easy to access hiking and other activities. However, it's a bit remote from other dining options.
Dining
5.0
The on-site dining options were overpriced and underwhelming, with breakfast starting a bit late for early park visitors. While the dinner options were acceptable, they didn't impress.
Facilities

The pool area with slides was a highlight for our family and well-maintained, adding entertainment after a day of activities. The activities available on-site were a nice touch.

My family and I had a mix of experiences at this resort. We loved participating in various activities that kept us busy, particularly the zip lining and canyoneering. However, the dining options left a lot to be desired, and some facilities felt more like a camp than a resort. Overall, it was a decent experience with plenty of fun but some areas need improvement.

Rooms

The glamping tents exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, providing ample space for our family. The private showers were clean and refreshing, which I appreciated.
Service
7.0
The staff was helpful and tried to make our stay enjoyable, but the restaurant service was lacking, and dining waits were frustrating.
Location

The resort is ideally situated near Zion National Park, and we found it convenient for our hikes and explorations.
Dining

The on-site restaurant had a long wait and the food wasn't great; it felt more like a camp dining hall rather than a restaurant.
Facilities

The pool area was fun with slides, but the loud music detracted from the experience. Overall, the facilities could use some updates.

My stay at Zion Ponderosa Ranch had its ups and downs. The location near Zion National Park is fantastic for outdoor enthusiasts, and the variety of activities kept my family entertained. However, the condition of the rental we stayed in was far from ideal, with cleanliness issues and a lack of basic supplies. While the views are amazing, the accommodations didn't live up to the hype.

Set just outside Zion National Park, the location offers breathtaking views and easy access to hiking trails, although it's somewhat isolated.
Dining

Dining options were very limited with no fresh food available on-site, forcing us to rely on processed meals.
Facilities

Facilities were okay, with a pool and some activities, but many needed maintenance and proper cleaning.

I had a great time at the ranch, particularly enjoying the variety of activities available, like horseback riding and the jeep tour, which showcased stunning views. The accommodations were comfortable, but the dining experience left much to be desired with both dinner and breakfast falling short of my expectations. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for family fun, but improvements in the dining quality would enhance the stay significantly.
